Election Integrity Project
At The Gadsden Center, we think it is crucial that our elections be fair and honest and reserved to those who are citizens. We also decry voter intimidation efforts and abuse of the voting process.
The Election Integrity Project consists of evaluating local municipal and county clerks to ensure they are keeping up with removal from the polls of registrations for recently deceased voters and other voters who are no longer eligible to vote in that jurisdiction. For instance, county clerks are required by Michigan law to provide to the local clerks in their county lists of deceased voters.
Other election integrity issues, such as those pertaining to voter registration and absentee ballot applications, may be identified for future projects.
