Deep pocketed political donors and business organizations fight tax hikes targeting their interests while lobbying to increase yours.

An excerpt from Skubick’s article: “Chamber head Rich Studley said if the unions want to fight, they’ll get one, but he too was open to working with labor to find another way to fix the roads without raising business taxes.”

Editor’s Note: Reading between the lines it appears Mr. Studley could be comfortable raising taxes, as long as his organization is not affected. The Gadsden Center advocates the Colbeck Plan, which fixes our roads without raising taxes, on anyone. Legislators, especially Republicans, are being pressured by business organizations and deep pocketed political donors to raise your taxes. Call your legislators and ask them to stand up for the little guy.
